Winger Andre Ayew is confronting a "critical" period on the sidelines in the wake of harming his right thigh amid his West Ham United introduction, the Premier League club said on Wednesday.
Ayew limped off with a thigh issue 30 minutes into Monday's 2-1 misfortune to London rivals Chelsea and in spite of the fact that the club have not put a time period on his damage, British media reported the 26-year-old will be out for up to four months.
The Ghana universal joined for a club record charge of £20.5 million from Swansea City prior this month.
