Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says the span of his squad makes the subject of James Rodriguez's future "entangled".
Rodriguez has been connected with a move far from the Santiago Bernabeu as of late, even purportedly pulling in light of a legitimate concern for eager Premier League equip West Ham.
Zidane seems hesitant to permit the Colombia universal to leave yet surrenders he will be unable to offer him general first-group football.
"The thought with James is the same as with other people - he's a Real Madrid player," said Zidane.
"I'm not going to let you know that James is a starter. He's a vital player. We'll see what happens this year, I have a major squad and it's convoluted."
Madrid reinforced their assaulting positions by re-marking Alvaro Morata from Juventus a month ago, however Zidane was pretty much as mindful about talking up the giving back striker's part in the group.
"He [Morata] is one more player in the group," he included. "He recognizes what Madrid is and we're glad to see Alvaro with us.
"We're going to have a much greater squad and everybody will be vital. He'll be one more."
Examining Jese Rodriguez's first-group prospects, Zidane clarified: "A year ago he [Jese] didn't have numerous minutes.
"I like him, I like him a great deal as a player. He can have minutes here, he knows his quality."
Madrid start their LaLiga season at Real Sociedad on August 21.
