The Nigeria Football Federation has named Salisu Yusuf as the Super Eagles' central mentor and will keep on looking for a specialized counsel.
This comes following a humiliating three days amid which the organization named Paul Le Guen regardless of not consenting to terms first.
It is hazy how the two parts are to be characterized (however one must recollect that both previous Nigeria mentors Clemens Westerhof and Jo Bonfrere, among Nigeria's best mentors, had the official title of specialized counselor) and what the levels of leadership will look like between the TA and Yusuf [above]
Bitrus Berwang [below] will hold the impermanent TA position till a perpetual one is found
The alliance's official council met yesterday and affirmed both arrangements. A later explanation from the NFF said it had "no issue with Le Guen saying he is not coming; as a few profoundly qualified persons would be glad to mentor Nigeria."
Sunday Oliseh was the Super Eagles' last changeless mentor before he quit in February in a terrible column over his agreement and relationship breakdown amongst him and the organization.
Nigeria have tumble to their most noticeably bad positioning on the Fifa stepping stool in decades ( fourteenth in Africa, 70th on the planet) and neglected to meet all requirements for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon.
In any case they are still in the last round of fitting the bill for the 2018 World Cup in Russia in a gathering that is indeed the hardest in Africa.
There they have been attracted Group B where they will confront Algeria, the top-positioned side in Africa, Cameroon, and in addition Zambia.
Yusuf meanwhile is batting 100 percent as mentor having won both recreations ( Mali and Luxembourg) where he held the mentor's shriek.
